Between October 7-11, 2024, six teachers from the Department of Business Administration, State University of Moldova – Marian Jalencu, Boris Corețchi, Alexandru Scutaru, Nina Pestușco, Galina Lisa and Irina Cosnicean – participated in the five-day training session organized by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest and the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania within Project No. 101081787 – “skills4future” with the title “Developing and improving STEAM skills of students and teachers for curriculum innovation and sustainable development of higher education institutions and local businesses”.
These training days allowed our teachers – members of the Skills4Future project group, to strengthen our knowledge of entrepreneurial curriculum design, innovative pedagogical methods based on the STEAM approach. The training session focused on the accumulation of knowledge and skills necessary for a teacher to stimulate innovation in innovative entrepreneurial training oriented towards sustainable development. The training session was well organized and conducted, based on a meticulously developed program. The training session covered various topics including sustainable growth strategies, responsible business practices and methods of teaching green skills.
The innovative STEAM entrepreneurial training session conducted by the European experts of the Skills4Future project, opened new perspectives in the context of sustainable development. The effectiveness of innovative entrepreneurial training can be ensured through a close collaboration between representatives of the business sector/companies, universities and public institutions in achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
After the Training Session, we realized that the main skills required by modern companies, oriented towards sustainable business development, are the development of IT skills, the implementation of ethical and quality standards, as well as compliance with safety regulations at work. On this basis, we will continue to perfect the innovative entrepreneurial training curriculum, as well as the STEAM disciplines.
